Kennedy Krieger Institute HRIS ANALYST in Baltimore, Maryland
The HRIS Analyst supports the overall HRIS daily functions related to the Institute’s Business Systems and data analytics. This includes, but is not limited to activities involved with planning, execution/implementation, closure and support. This position also analyzes data and troubleshoots system errors, trains end users, develops recurring and ad hoc reports, and supports custom interfaces.
Supports the HRIS function across all business systems, third party systems, and databases. Works collaboratively with all levels of employees and management, as well as HR team members, third party vendors, and consultants to support the business systems in both a functional and technical fashion. This includes but is not limited to gathering requirements, testing, and troubleshooting application functionality.
Creates custom and ad-hoc reports to support compliance, audits, and day-to-day needs.
Ensures timely and accurate transfer of data to third party vendors and systems. Collaborates with business system leads to act as functional liaison to troubleshoot interface issues and resolve data discrepancies.
Ensures data integrity including quality, accuracy, security, and usability of system data by adhering to standards and controls.
Ensures that user account provisioning, user account updates, and account deprovisioning processes are completed in a timely fashion. Assigns customized security for each user.
Maintains HR computer hardware, laptops, and compatibility with Lawson/Infor applications such as Java, browser settings, etc.
Monitors Workspace email accounts and responds to end users regarding general questions, password resets and troubleshoots system errors. Liaison with IT Helpdesk to resolve user access and application issues. Monitors and responds to Helpdesk tickets assigned to HRIS.
Assesses and identifies opportunities for application enhancements through end user requests, business needs, and overall strategic plan for the applications. Researches opportunities and develops alternative solutions that are cost effective and meet the functional and technical requirements.
Assists in the design and development of effective communication and training materials for end users, including tutorials, user manuals, and other materials related to business systems.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s in HR, IS, or related subject matter; 2 years’ experience with HRIS application or equivalent combination of experience and education required
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Infor/Lawson; Previous HRIS or certification; Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word; HRMS structure and reporting
